Dee.Bo.General aka Donavan C. Brown grew up in Huddersfield ,West Yorkshire, United Kingdom playing his part in a top local Sound System in the 1980's, 90's for the great
AMARAGIDEON MUZIK.
He worked as the talking Operator/Technician/M.c , working as a freelance M.c he performed for other local Sound Systems on big dance nights.
His lyrical style and delivery was and still is in popular demand by the people and promoters.
This talented young man is adaptable and spontaneous, when Reggae Dance Hall/Ragga Music crossed paths with a new urban UK genre music called Jungle/Drum n Bass, which was taking the country like an epidemic of new sounds.
A long time friend and producer L Double of Flex Records contacted Dee Bo about doing some work as his M.c, this led to a wonderful partnership, which saw success by working with two top London DJ's/Producers Mickey Finn and Aphrodite aka Urban Shakedown.
Their first record a Dub Plate, was already massive on the underground circuit. The track was immediately recognised and taken on by PWL music label and instantly became a Jungle Anthem. The track had a UK national chart release, a video was released to introduce the nation to this new urban music.
The track ' Some Justice 95' (the arsonist)
was played on MTV and various music channels.
Dee.Bo.General has UK, Europe and several states in the USA performing his Ragga Jungle lyrics.
Since the late 90's never leaving his concious roots delivery style he worked with local/international band Harlem Gem, two male singers, He appeared on their first album, voicing four tracks. A powerful contribution to Roots Music. Dee.Bo's 'gruff delivery style complimenting the silky smooth vocals of Richmond and Lloyd Gem (Harlem Gem).
In 2000 he began work on his own project with a group of top local artistes and performed as the
S.W.A.T TEAM (Special Works And Tactics Team) providing cultural entertainment.
His last music release was for 'SUBVER ZION' in Germany called 'Brighter Day', www.subverzionsherd.org he also worked with Roots Man of Third Eye Music , www.thirdeyemusic.co.uk as his M.c touring the new European Sound Systems Circuit around Italy, Croatia, Germany, France, Holland, Portugal and Greece.
He has also voiced Dub Plates for various International Sound Systems.
Dee.Bo also released his debut album in 2008

In between his busy schedules he hosted open Mic Nights at Rhythm & Indigos a local music venue in Huddersfield giving young talent a chance to pracise and perform their Microphone skills, whether it be Dancehall, Ragga or Rap Poetry Dee.Bo General will always be involved in music and performance as a Performer, Writer or Host and Compere. He always delivers is reliable and never lets his clients down.

Rock Bottom - MC Element featuring Dee Bo General recorded while in Kuwait 2011. He was asked to put a hook down for a local rapper the video was produced later.
